- The students attempting chemistry, Physics, Maths, English eligible for all the B.Tech Programmes offered by the VIT University.
- The candidates are attempting physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English Eligible for the B.Tech. BioTechnology, B.Tech. BioEngineering, B.Tech.CSE (Spl. in Bioinformatics) and ECE with Spl. in Biomedical Engineering programmes.
- The Selection of subjects ( Physics/Chemistry/Maths or English/Biology) has to be mentioned while filling the Application form.
- The questions asked mainly from the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE Syllabus.
- Each part has 40 questions, and Each Question carries 1 mark. Each question has four multiple choices, so the candidate has to choose the correct answer and click the same.

VIT University is pleased to announce new campuses in VIT Bhopal & VIT-AP functioning from 2017. The VIT selects the candidates purely on merit-based by conducting the online Entrance Examination. Vellore Institute of Technology organizes its entrance exam, called the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam test. VIT Conducts exam every year in April and May. More than two lakhs students appeared for VITEEE Exam in 2015. VITEEE Exam has been conducting since 2013, and it is easy exam compared to other Entrance Exams like JEE Mains( Formerly AIEEE) and JEE Advanced( Formerly IIT JEE).
