Presidency University 2020 Admission
The Presidency University offers the Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses based on merit in the qualifying examination and Entrance Test which conducted by the University. The 60% of the PG seats filled through the Presidency University Direct Admission 2020 of the candidates (Securing 6.5 CGPA in Science or 5.5 CGPA in Humanities) on merit basis. The remaining seats filled from the final merit list based on the marks obtained in the Presidency University 2020 Admission Test/ Entrance Test.
A candidate has to secure at least 40 Percent of the highest marks to get Presidency University Kolkata Admission 2020. The SC & ST students have to secure 75% of the total marks and the OBCA/ OBCB candidates will have to obtain 90% of the total marks obtained by the last general candidate. Otherwise, they will not be considered for the PU Admission under Reservation quota.
The final Admission in Presidency University offered according to the position in the Final Merit List. If some seats reserved for direct Presidency University PG Admission 2020 remain vacant for the insufficient number of eligible candidates filled in the same manner (in addition to the rest 40% of seats) from the rank list based on Entrance Examination.

Presidency University Application Form 2020 @ www.presiuniv.ac.in
- The Presidency University 2020 Application form submission process will be done through online mode only.
- The Presidency Online Application Form will be available from the 1st week of February 2020 for PUBDET and PUMDET.
- In the Presidency University 2020 Application form, the applicants have to enter the Name of the Candidate, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, email ID and other details.
- Now, they need to upload their scanned images of photograph and signature as per the instructions mentioned in the admission prospectus.
- Once the Application form of Presidency University Admission is submitted, the applicant cannot change/ modify the provided details.
- After submission of the presiuniv.ac.in Admission Application form, Keep the printout of the application form upto the Presidency University 2020 Admission process.
PU Application Fee 2020
The candidates need to pay the Application Fee Amount of Rs. 500/- for both Entrance Examinations. They make the Fee payment through Online Mode Only, i.e., Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking. There is no other mode to make the Presidency University Entrance Exam Registration Fee.
Presidency University 2020 Admission – Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age limit: There is no specified maximum and minimum age limit to apply.
Academic Qualification for PUBDET: Candidates have to pass the 12th class examination (not before 2020) or have appeared on the examination conducted by CHSE, West Bengal board or any other equivalent board.
Qualification Exam for PUMDET: The candidate should be completed (not before 2020) or appearing the B.A. (Hons)/ B.Sc. (Hons) examination in 2020 from any recognized university.

PU (Presidency University) Entrance Exams
The University conducts the UG and PG Entrance Exams, namely PUBDET (Presidency University Bachelor’s Degree Entrance Test) and PUMDET (Presidency University Master’s Degree Entrance Test) for PU Admissions 2020. About Presidency University
Presidency University, Kolkata is formerly known as Hindu College and Presidency College. It is a Public State University. The University is located in College Street, Kolkata. It is one of the best liberal arts and science institutions in India. The Presidency University was functioning as a top constituent college under the University of Calcutta for a period of around 193 years. The institution elevated to University status in the year 2010. It has its bicentenary celebrations in 2020.
In the year 2009, the Governing Body of the college unanimously adopted the proposal that the college should be given full university status. On 16th December 2009, the Government of West Bengal tabled a bill in Bidhansabha under the Presidency University Act, 2009. In this bill, the West Bengal Legislative Assembly granted full University status to the college. The bill stated that once the college becomes a full State Aided University and renamed as Presidency University.
