Tie-Breaking Methodology for GCET 2019 Rank List
Since a lot of candidates write Goa CET Exam 2019, some of the candidates can get the same number of marks. In such situations, assigning the rank will be difficult. So, a tie breaking criteria is generated to allocate rank to candidates. The authority assigns the rank by giving preference to the candidate as per following conditions.
- The candidate with higher marks in Mathematics is given higher GCET Rank 2019.

- Even if tie does not break, then the aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics in Class 12th is given preference.
- If the tie still exists, then Mathematics in 12th Class gets the higher rank.
